How should I take this medicine?

Take this medicine by mouth with a glass of water. You may take this medicine with food or on an empty stomach. Take your medicine at regular intervals. Do not take your medicine more often than directed. Take all of your medicine as directed even if you think your are better. Do not skip doses or stop your medicine early.

Talk to your pediatrician regarding the use of this medicine in children. While this drug may be prescribed for selected conditions, precautions do apply.

  • chloramphenicol
  • macrolides
  • probenecid
  • sulfonamides
  • tetracyclines

Also tell your prescriber or health care professional if you are a frequent user of drinks with caffeine or alcohol, if you smoke, or if you use illegal drugs. What should I watch for while taking this medicine?

  • dizziness
  • headache
  • stomach upset
  • trouble sleeping

Where can I keep my medicine?

Keep out of the reach of children.

Store between 68 and 77 degrees F (20 and 25 degrees C). Keep bottle closed tightly. Throw away any unused medicine after the expiration date.
